Jamie Godber
Violin
Toronto based violinist Jamie Godber holds a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance from the University of Toronto where she studied with Dr. Timothy Ying.
Jamie has led the University of Toronto Symphony and Opera Orchestras as Concertmaster, and in the fall of 2019 was invited to lead the Tartini Conservatory Chamber Orchestra in the Pordenone Silent Film Festival in Italy. In Summer 2022 she was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra in Germany. She has performed as an apprentice in the National Academy Orchestra of Canada for three summers and has participated in masterclasses for violinists such as James Ehnes, Pinchas Zukerman, and Jonathan Crow. During her undergraduate studies at U of T with Annalee Patipatanakoon, Jamie’s string quartet received the Felix Galimir Chamber Award and first prize of the Haydn String Quartet Challenge. She currently freelances throughout southern Ontario and enjoys teaching in her private studio and at the Lane School of Music in East Toronto.
Rebecca Miller
Violin
American violist Rebecca Miller began her studies at the age of 9. Currently based in Toronto,
she maintains an active freelance career, performing in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings
across a variety of genres. She has played with many symphony orchestras, including multiple
years as a member of the Boston Philharmonic, and is also enthusiastic about performing with
opera and ballet orchestras. An avid chamber musician, she has recently appeared in concerts
throughout Toronto with the Highwood String Quartet. Rebecca is currently studying with Steve
Dann at the Glenn Gould School as an Artist Diploma candidate. She holds a Bachelor of Music
degree from The Boston Conservatory, where she studied with Rictor Noren, and has also
studied with Nicholas Cords and Lewis Rosove. When not performing, Rebecca enjoys hiking,
biking, strong coffee, and a good book.
Adrian Irvine
Violin
Adrian Irvine works as a freelance violinist, music producer, and violin instructor in Toronto, Canada and surrounding areas. He received his Masters in Violin from the University of Toronto where he studied with Erika Raum and performed as Concertmaster with the U of T Symphony and Opera Orchestras.Adrian performs regularly with ensembles throughout southern Ontario including the National Academy Orchestra, the Mandle Philharmonic, the Niagara Symphony, and the Freesound Collective, amongst others. He can be heard on recordings for a wide variety artists spanning genres from hip-hop to folk. Peter Ryan
Cello
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Peter Ryan enjoys playing and teaching cello in a variety of contexts within the Greater Toronto Area. He is currently finishing a Doctor of Musical
Arts at University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, where he also completed his M.M. degree. Before Cincinnati, Peter got his B.M. degree at NYU Steinhardt. His orchestra
experience includes playing in the National Arts Center Orchestra, New World Symphony, and Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. With his piano trio, the SunRix trio, Peter has performed in several venues across the Cincinnati area and has participated in competitions such as the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Competition and the 46th annual Fischoff Competition. Peter has attended several summer music festivals including National Academy Orchestra of Canada, National Repertory Orchestra, and Meadowmount School of Music and has participated in several master classes with prominent cellists such as Hans Jorgen Jensen, Bonnie Hampton and Wendy Warner. Peter’s primary teachers include Alan Rafferty and Marion
Feldman. In his spare time, Peter enjoys bird watching, hockey and playing chess
